DAY 1: Italy/Turin
Departure day with a scheduled flight from the chosen city to Turin. Upon arrival transfer to hotel and accommodation in private rooms. According to the arrival time of the flight free time for individual visits. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Turin
Panoramic tour of Turin including the following highlights: the Valentino Park and its medieval center, a replica of a typical medieval village surrounded by fortified walls and a fortress. The Basilica of Superga: a beautiful church built on the hill of Superga, a perfect point to admire the beauty of the city and a popular place of pilgrimage. The Royal Palace, a majestic building of the seventeenth century, former residence of the kings of Italy which preserves the traces left by many famous architects and artists who worked in Turin. The Turin Cathedral: this cathedral is the only example of Renaissance architecture in the city and houses the Holy Shroud. Dinner and overnight stay in Turin.
Day 3: Venaria
Transfer to Venaria Reale and visit the Royal Palace, the building which shows the history of the Savoy family: the ancient European dynasty reigned in Piedmont for about a thousand years. The palace is surrounded by beautiful gardens that can be explored on foot or by train, and an original large park called “Mandria” where you can make beautiful walks or rent a bike to discover its hidden treasures. Return to hotel in Turin, dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Turin
Visit Palazzo Madama, a building containing two thousand year of history of Piedmont, built by the Romans today it houses the City Museum of Ancient Art. Transfer to visit the symbol of the city and amazing building, the Mole Antonelliana in Via Montebello that houses since 2000, the National Museum of Cinema, exhaustive exposition on the history and development of world cinema. The large hollow space of the Mole is crossed by the incredible transparent elevator that allows to visit the spire: an experience of vertigo and momentum that leaves no one indifferent. Return to hotel in Turin. Dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Turin
Visit the Museum of the Risorgimento in Turin at Palazzo Carignano, completely renovated with a new layout on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy. The building, which housed the headquarters of the Subalpine Parliament, who later became the first Parliament of the Kingdom of Italy, is the perfect place to retrace the history of the unification of the country. Transfer to visit The Museum of the Car, named after Carlo Biscaretti Ruffia. It is considered among the most important museums in Europe on this subject. The museum has recently reopened, it was closed for restoration and modernization works. Return to hotel in Turin. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Turin
Morning: Breakfast. Visit the Egyptian Museum, known all over the world and second only after the Cairo Museum, dedicated to the art and culture of ancient Egypt.
Afternoon: walking tour of the city center where you will find many small shops selling typical food with the chance to taste some traditional products.
Day 7: Turin
Breakfast. Free shopping at the outlet of fashion. Return to the hotel in Turin. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 8: Turin
Breakfast. Free morning, according to the departure time. Transfer to airport. Custom Formalities. End of our services.
