In the Veneto Region, in the waters of the Adriatic, is one of the most romantic and evocative places in the world, a priceless treasure: the Venetian Lagoon.
At the heart of this legendary Province is the Serenissima or Most Serene Republic, with its characteristic bridges spanning the canals navigated by gondolas, its monuments, piazzas, narrow lanes and silent waters.
Venice is actually a group of fascinating small islands, where art and history combine with old trades and the beauty of the sea.
DAY 1: Italy/Venice
Departure from the chosen city to Venice. Upon arrival transfer to hotel and accommodation in private rooms. According to the time of arrival, time for individual visits. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 2: Venice
Morning: Breakfast. Meet your guide at the hotel, start of guided tour of this enchanting lagoon city, loved by many artists who visited it in the course of the centuries: St. Mark’s Square, judicial and political heart of the city defined by Napoleon “the finest living room of the world”, the St. Mark’s Basilica, spectacular interplay of Byzantine, Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance details, the Clock Tower, one of the first mechanical gear clocks indicating the time, lunar & solar phases, and the zodiac and the outside of the bell tower. Free lunch.
Afternoon: Free time. Optional excursion: guided tour of the Doge’s Palace, a masterpiece of Venetian Gothic style, the ancient seat of the Doge, is spread over three wings around a large courtyard, and the fourth side is constituted by the central body of St. Mark’s Basilica. The main hall of the palace, one of the largest in Europe, hosed up to 2000 Venetian patricians. Through the interior you get to the Bridge of Sighs, a covered passage that connects the old prisons to the Doge’s Palace, where they found accommodation prisoners of high rank, as Giacomo Casanova, author of a spectacular escape. At the end of the visit time available to participants for visits to individual character or for purchases. Return to hotel, dinner and evening at the Casino of Venice.
DAY 3: Venice/Burano/Murano/Venice
Morning: Breakfast. Full day excursion to the lagoon islands. Ferry to Murano, famous for glass processing and stop for a visit of the island and its glassworks. Free lunch
Afternoon: Transfer by boat to Burano, famous for the art of lace and visit of island. Return to Venice in the late afternoon, dinner and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 4: Venice/Shopping
Breakfast. Free time for shopping. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.
DAY 5: Venice
Breakfast. Free time, according to the departure time. Transfer to airport. Custom Formalities. End of our services.
